OVERVIEW:  
At the request of the HPC, the Historic Preservation Officer will provide a presentation on the staff-
recommended historic preservation-related funding for Capital Improvements Program (CIP) projects 
for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 (FY26/27), which begins on July 1, 2026. City Council is scheduled to vote 
on approval of the recommended appropriations at the Regular Council Meeting (RCM) on May 14, 
2026.
The attached document includes projects that have been completed and exhausted their funding in 
FY25/26, but it does not include projects that have been proposed to begin after FY26/27 and have not 
been issued a Project Number (Cost Center) (e.g., Homeowners Exterior Rehabilitation Assistance 
Program for Historic Properties). Note, too, that the attached document only includes funding for 
FY26/27 and does not include any proposed additional CIP funding for existing or future projects in 
subsequent fiscal years of the upcoming five-year CIP cycle (FY26/27-FY30/31).
