PURPOSE:
To provide the Mayor and City Council with an update on the Agency Review process and to present 
volunteer funding recommendations for fiscal year 2026-27.

Update, only; no recommendation or guidance is being requested at this time.
CITY COUNCIL STRATEGIC PRIORITY AND RELATED PERFORMANCE MEASURE:
3.10 - Human Services Grants: Achieve a success rate of 100% for performance goals of funded 
agencies.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Timeline 
* February 2 - Deadline for agency applications
* January 21,22 & 23 - Three volunteer training courses in-person and virtual, using the online evaluation 
system, and specialized training for reviewers of financial 
documents
* February 23 - Reviewers’ evaluations and questions for agencies due
* March 9 - Preliminary allocation meeting 
* March 24 - Allocation meeting: TCC Community Impact Committee and volunteers meet to reconcile 
recommendations with available resources.
* April 1 - Recommendations to TCC Board of Directors
* May 18 - Recommendations presented to City Council

* 63 agencies submitted requests
* 71 programs requested funds (agencies may submit multiple programs)
* 35 programs, 27 agencies are recommended for funding
