CITY OF TEMPE Meeting Date: 06/25/2026 REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Agenda Item: 7B19 ACTION: Approve one-year contract renewals with Arcadis U.S., Inc. and Enterprise Automation for on-site routine and emergency maintenance services to support Aveva technologies. FISCAL IMPACT: The total cost of the contract will not exceed $300,000. Sufficient funds have been appropriated in the Water and Wastewater Capital Improvement Program Fund, Project No. 3204099 (SCADA Improvements) for the anticipated expenditures during the current fiscal year contingent upon City Council approval of the City’s annual budget. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the contract renewals. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: (WUD24-116-01, 02) City Council awarded the contracts on June 27, 2024, to secure certified Aveva Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) contractors for on-site, routine and emergency maintenance services. Tempe uses SCADA software to operate and monitor critical water, wastewater and stormwater systems. This contract will provide instructor training services, and as needed software patches and upgrades for these critical systems.
