RESOLUTION NO. R2026.72
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
TEMPE, ARIZONA, APPROVING AWARDS, ALLOCATING 
FUNDS, 
AND 
AUTHORIZING 
THE 
EXECUTION 
OF 
CONTRACTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027 MARYANNE 
CORDER NEIGHBORHOOD GRANTS.
WHEREAS, the City annually awards grants from the Maryanne Corder Neighborhood Grant 
Program (Program) to neighborhood associations and homeowners’ associations to fund projects of 
community benefit; and
WHEREAS, $350,000 in funds from the General Fund, small cell revenue collections, 
Water/Wastewater, and Sustainability and Resilience are available and budgeted to be allocated to Program 
grants;
WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Services Department conducted a competitive application and review 
process and recommends the Council approve the grantees, projects, and fund awards as reflected in Exhibit 
A; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution and its actions are for the benefit of persons living, working, or visiting 
in the City of Tempe;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPE, 
ARIZONA, HEREBY:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the award of and allocates funding for the Fiscal Year 
2026/2027 Maryanne Corder Neighborhood Grants to be distributed as reflected in Exhibit A to this 
Resolution, which is incorporated herein by this reference. Such awards are subject to each entity’s successful 
performance of its obligations under the contracts executed with the City.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City, grant contracts 
with those listed entities whose projects are located on private property. These contracts shall substantially 
conform to the form attached as Exhibit B to this Resolution, which is incorporated by this reference.
Section 3. That the City Manager or designee is authorized and directed to execute any other 
documents and take such other actions as are necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, this 
25th day of June, 2026
