The letter stated that they believe this proposal will not be burdensome and will be compatible with the local area. Attachments: 9-12-23 Support Letter (1 page) STATEMENT OF SUPPORT “NEC 355th Ave. & Van Buren” I am in support of the proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change request for approximately 153 gross acres located at the northeast corner of 355th Avenue and Van Buren in Maricopa County (Tonopah), AZ. It is my understanding that the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change request, if approved, will allow the land to be designated in the Maricopa County Comprehensive Plan 2030 as “Miscellaneous Retail” and the subsequent Zone Change from RU-43 to IND-1 Planned Industrial Zoning District” to make way for the future development of a quality industrial project. I have taken the time to review and understand the proposed project and Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change. I am a homeowner adjacent to the project site. I believe the proposal and design will not cause burden and fits appropriately with the existing development in the area.
