ACTION:  PUBLIC HEARING ITEM Introduce and hold the first public hearing to adopt an ordinance 
authorizing the abandonment of the water line easements located on the north side of Rio Salado 
Parkway and the east side of Loop 101 for 2630 West Rio Salado Parkway (The Den). The second and 
final public hearing is scheduled for August 31, 2026. (Ordinance No. O2026.35)
FISCAL IMPACT:  N/A
RECOMMENDATION:  Adopt Ordinance No. O2026.35.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  The Owner/Applicant of The Den (Rio Salado 25, LLC), located 
at 2630 West Rio Salado Parkway, requests the abandonment of the water line easements as described 
and depicted in the legal description and exhibit, to allow for the development. This easement was 
originally granted by documents MCR 19890391728 and 19900325974, recorded and filed in the 
records of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office.
The Maricopa County Assessor Parcel number associated with this development is 135-38-029 and 
135-38-030.
