This letter is to inform you of my resignation as chair for the Maricopa County Citizen’s Audit Committee 
effective immediately.  It has been an honor representing District 3 and serving on the committee for the 
past 10 years.  My resignation is based on your recent appointment to the city of Avondale Audit 
Committee and in the abundance of caution to remain independent in both fact and appearance.  After 
seeking your assistance, I am very appreciative of your acceptance to serve on Avondale’s first established
