The program submitted an application with Department of Education on September 30, 2022 to 
participate in the federally funded Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP). CACFP provides aid to child 
and adult care facilities for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy 
growth, and development of young children and adults.  Maricopa County Early Education Division 
received electronic approval of the application on December 9, 2022.
