Citizen Participation Plan for Eastmark DUP Amendment (ZON26-00155)

The purpose of this Citizen Participation Plan is to inform citizens, property owners, 
neighborhood associations, agencies, schools, and businesses in the vicinity of the proposed 
Eastmark DUP Amendment. The 11.7 acres of property is located within the Planned 
Community (“PC”) zoning district for the Eastmark Community Plan, Development Unit Plan 
(“DUP”) 5/6S (“DU 5/6S”). This case (ZON26-00155) will designate a Land Use Group (“LUG”) for 
the Property. 
This plan is designed to ensure that all affected parties have a meaningful opportunity to learn 
about the proposal and provide feedback.

Action Plan 
To facilitate effective citizen participation, the following actions will be taken to ensure the 
community is informed and able to address any real or perceived impacts of the proposed 
development: 
1. A contact list will be developed for citizens and agencies in this area including: 
a. All registered neighborhood associations within one mile of the project. 
b. Homeowners Associations within one half mile of the project. 
c. Interested neighbors-focused on 1,000 feet from site 
d. Mesa Public School District in writing. 
e. Gilbert Public School District in writing. 
 
2. All people listed on the contact list will receive a letter describing the amendment 
with land use map.
