Project Background:
A 36-inch diameter relief sewer 
line in Pecos Road 
3,395 LF Sewer Line installed in 
Pecos Road from west of the 
Roosevelt Water Conservation 
District Canal to Power Road
The Project is planned in 
accordance with the 2018 
Wastewater Master Plan 
Supports existing infrastructure 
and increases capacity for 
development at the ASU 
Polytechnic Campus
Alleviate load on existing system

Project limits from East Maricopa Floodway to Power Road
Construction begins Fall of 2026

423 SF Sewer Line 
Easement  required on the 
commercial property
Within an existing SRP High 
Voltage Easement 
Property is zoned GC-
General Commercial, Town

Easement Location

February 2026-The property 
owner declined the original 
offer.
April 2026-third-party appraisal 
completed  new offer provided 
to the owner.
Owner requested an alternative 
to acquiring the easement. 
Easement Negotiations

Requires multiple 30+-foot-deep manholes 
to be installed
Each additional manhole requires 
additional future maintenance costs 
Limits capacity for future development
Excessive construction costs
