Box 1466 Mesa, AZ 85211-1466 480-644-3539 Notice of Availability of the Proposed Public Housing Authority FY 2026/2027 Annual Plan The 1998 Federal Housing Act requires all Public Housing Authorities to complete and submit an Annual Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and that the public be given the opportunity to provide comments. The purpose of the Plan is to outline the goals, objectives, and methodology the agency will use to provide assisted and affordable housing through the use of federal funds in Mesa. Beginning on February 1, 2026, the Mesa Housing Authority’s proposed FY 2026/2027 Annual Plan will be available electronically for review by the general public and can be found on the City’s Housing Services website at: https://www.mesaaz.gov/housing Notice of 45-Day Public Comment Period February 1, 2026 – March 17, 2026 A 45-day public comment period regarding the Housing Authority’s proposed FY 2026/2027 Annual Plan will begin on Sunday, February 1, 2026, and conclude at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Public comments will be accepted anytime during the 45-day public comment period. Concerned residents should submit their comments to the: City of Mesa Housing Services by fax at 480-644-2923 or email to housing.info@mesaaz.gov. Written comments regarding the Plan will be accepted on or before March 17, 2026. Notice of Public Hearing Proposed Public Housing Authority FY 2026/2027 Annual Plan March 26, 2026, 7:30 a.m. A public hearing will be held to review and solicit comments from the general public regarding the Mesa Housing Authority’s proposed Public Housing Authority FY 2026/2027 Annual Plan.
