The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board Members meet for a Special Meeting at 57 East

 Minutes from Dec. 8, 2025, Regular Board meeting.  
 
It is moved by Board Member Jacob Martinez and second by Board Member LaGrant Jackson that the 
meeting minutes be approved. 
Upon Tabulation of votes, it shows: 
AYES – Devine, Garcia, Hurd, Jackson, Karantinos, Martinez, Miller, Ranta, Scott, Thompson 
NAYS – None 
Carried unanimously.

Members of the audience may address the Board on any item.  State statute prohibits the Housing 
and Community Development Advisory Board (HCDAB) from discussing an item that is not on the 
agenda; however, the Board does listen to concerns and has staff follow up on any questions raised.

 FY 2026/2027 Agency Presentations
Twenty one agencies presented the projects they applied for the City of Mesa’s FY 2026/2027 
Human Services/ABC program funding. The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board 
hears, reviews, and discusses the information given. 
Board members are reminded that the application scores need to be finalized in ZoomGrants by Dec. 
16th.

Without objection, the Regular Housing and Community Development Advisory Board meeting 
is adjourned at 6:03 p.m. 
It is moved by Board Member Nicolle Karantinos and seconded by Board Member Amanda 
Miller that the meeting be adjourned.
