As we continue our commitment to providing residents with efficient, high-quality waste removal service, we would like to provide an update regarding our annual rate adjustment. To keep pace with rising operational costs and ensure the superior level of service El Mirage residents expect, we are implementing a nominal price adjustment in accordance with our existing agreement. Based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for 2025, which reflects a net increase of 2.7%, we will adjust our rates accordingly. Effective July 1, 2026, residential trash service rates will increase from $11.28 to $11.59 per unit per month. Our team continues to look for ways to maximize value and efficiency for the City’s residents while upholding our high environmental standards. The relevant CPI-U report is enclosed for your review.
