(Consultant) to provide professional engineering services to identify and characterize existing drainage, flooding sources, and flooding hazards within the study area primarily due to land use changes, previous study age, hydrologic methods, modern mapping technologies, and population growth within the watershed. (Contract FCD 2023C017). The estimated contract price is $1,200,000.00. The contract will be effective for 730 calendar days, from the date of the Notice to Proceed to Final Completion with possible extensions. The Flood Control District of Maricopa Country (District) and Consultant will mutually agree to a detailed scope of work for each work assignment. This is a qualifications-based selection in accordance with the Maricopa County Procurement Code, Article 5, Paragraph 504 and Article 5 Procurement Procedures Manual, Chapter II – Section 2. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 1, District 2, and District 5. Additional Information/History: Flood Control District FY2021 Area Drainage Master Study/Plan (ADMS/P) Prioritization Analysis, dated July 2020, determined the need to update the plan based on the age of the previous study and modern modeling technologies.
