Apache Junction City Council approved the budget for Fiscal Year 2027 on 6/15/26. Included in the 
budget were several vehicle purchases for the Fleet Division of Public Works. The following 
budgeted purchases are planned to be completed in FY27. 
 
General Fund totaling $433,000 
• Patrol: Four additional vehicles with emergency lighting and equipment 
• Parks and Recreation: One replacement vehicle 
 
Public Works HURF totaling $595,300 
• Three additional trucks with emergency lighting and equipment 
• One replacement truck with emergency lighting and equipment 
 
 
 
Staff recommends the purchase of general fund and highway user revenue fund vehicles with 
lighting and equipment in the amount of $1,028,300. The city will be using the State Cooperative 
Contract # CTR059323 with San Tan Ford. The lighting and equipment would be through Arizona 
Emergency Products using Chandlers Cooperative Contract PD5-055-4859.
