MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY OF CHANDLER, ARIZONA, held on Monday, February 8, 2021, in the Council Chambers, 
Council Conference Room, 88 E. Chicago Street, Chandler, Arizona
THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR KEVIN HARTKE AT 4:02 P.M.
The following members were present:

Rae Lynn Nielsen, Human Resources Director

Personnel Matters--A.R.S. Sections 38-431.03(A)(1) and (A)(4) - Discussion or consideration 
regarding appointment of Interim City Manager and discussion or consultation with the City 
Attorney for legal advice regarding recruitment of Presiding City Magistrate and City 
Manager and 
potential contracts for recruitment of candidates for same.
COUNCILMEMBER LOPEZ MOVED TO HOLD AN EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING IMMEDIATELY 
FOLLOWING THE SPECIAL MEETING; SECONDED BY VICE MAYOR STEWART.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. (7-0)
ADJOURNMENT:  The Special Meeting was adjourned at approximately 4:02 p.m.
