SanTan Brewing Company 
City of Chandler, 
My name is Anthony Canecchia and I represent SanTan Brewing Company Inc. and over the last 
year, SanTan has experienced the same hardships as other businesses during the pandemic of 
Covid-19. During this time, SanTan shuttered the Tasting Room and the Touring component of our 
Production Facility at 495 E Warner Rd. Chandler AZ 85225 (parcel #302-39-319). Upon re-
opening, our company policy was, and remains, to be respectful to the needs of our customers. 
This takes the form of socially distanced seating which makes many of our customers incredibly 
happy to see. Because the Tours are becoming more successful, and to maintain the respectful 
space required for social distancing, SanTan is seeking to expand our seating area outside with 
additional patio space with a Wooden Deck adjacent to the existing approved patio. The additional 
space will allow SanTan to add tables which will remain safely distanced inside and outside. 
Currently, Tours fill up and can be as many as 16 people per tour. This is half the number we used 
to allow pre-pandemic. At 16 per Tour, with 16 ending the Tour and 16 waiting for the next Tour, 
the seating can get a bit crowded. The patio expansion will give SanTan the opportunity to 
continue to make our guests feel comfortable. SanTan is also using this addition to work with 
Collaborative 5 Design Studios to beautify the landscaping against Warner Rd and to visually and 
colorfully enhance our corner of Uptown Chandler with approved flora. 
Additionally, we plan to add 2 speakers on the patio (see diagram) for tour announcements and 
for background music. We also plan to have live acoustic, 2- and 3-piece bands inside and outside 
the tasting room – no drums outdoors, only a cajon or similar form of percussion will be used. 
Meaning, the location where the live entertainment and background music will occur is within our 
1500 sq ft Tasting Room and our soon to be 1400 sq ft patio (800 sq ft currently approved and 600 
sq ft being contemplated in this extension). The time and duration of that entertainment will 
depend on the event (tours, product release party, wedding or rehearsal dinner). The proposed 
hours of entertainment are Sunday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Monday through Thursday 3:00 
pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. Working the tours and other events, the 
number of employees can be as few as 2 employees on up to 10 or more employees. Once the 
patio is completed the total number of seats is approximately 48 (24 in the Tasting Room and 24 
on the Patio).  
Lastly, we have a shared parking agreement with our neighbors to the west (455 E Warner Rd.) 
which adds over 100 parking spaces to our approximately 40 existing parking spaces.  
In sum, although this location is primarily a production facility, we hope the City of Chandler will 
approve this modest addition of approximately 600 sq ft. to our patio and our entertainment 
requests so we can provide a safe and fun environment for our team members and our guests.
