Signage and pavement markings help. • Landscape buffers between curb and path have become a maintenance issue. City is moving towards reducing or eliminating landscaping in the buffer. Balancing the maintenance issues with providing user comfort/shade is a challenge. • Pavement marking on path is beneficial to provide directional guidance and delineation for nighttime users.
