In 2016 I received my BFA with a focus in painting, and have maintained a disciplined studio practice involving sculpture and painting over the last five years. During this time I have created public and private sculptures as well as murals in Tempe, Phoenix, Chandler and Glendale. Through my previous experiences creating public, and private artworks I have developed skills in designing, conceptualizing, collaborating, and creating idea-driven artworks specific to the sites where they are housed. I am very interested in putting forth a proposal for this opportunity and designing an outdoor sculpture to honor the fallen firefighter Mark David “Bo” Boulanger who inspired the work and spent his life devoted to saving others.
