Page 2 of 4 Consent Agenda Motion and Vote Elected Member Vargas moved to approve the Consent Agenda of the February 2, 2022 Regular Public Safety Fire Personnel Retirement Board Meeting. Motion was seconded by Elected Member Jensen. Motion carried unanimously (5-0). Executive Session – Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02 (A), the Chandler Local Fire Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board may vote to convene in executive session to discuss or consider confidential records exempt by law from public inspection and/or to consult with Board’s attorney for legal advice and to consider the Board’s position and to instruct the Board’s attorney regarding its position on items. Action Agenda Item No. 2 and Discussion 2. Pre-Existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Andre Michon Consideration, Discussion and Appropriate Action for Pre-existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Andre Michon Executive Session – Chairperson Turner asked for a motion to end the Open Session and to move to Executive Session for legal advice and confidential medical review. Citizen Member Crawford made a motion to end the Open Session and to move into Executive Session for legal advice and confidential medical review in the matter Action Agenda Item No. 2-5. Elected Member Jensen seconded the motion, and the vote was unanimous to end the Open Session and move into Executive Session at 8:32 a.m. Open Session – Chairperson Turner asked for a motion to end the Executive Session and move into Open Session. Elected Member Jensen made the motion to end the Executive Session and move into Open Session; Elected Member Vargas seconded the motion, and the vote was unanimous to end the Executive Session and move into Open Session at 8:47 a.m. Action Agenda Item No. 2 Motion and Vote Elected Member Jensen moved to declare two pre-existing conditions identified in the Pre-Existing Condition Review memo for Andre Michon; Agenda Item No. 2 of the March 2, 2022, Regular Public Safety Fire Personnel Retirement Board; Citizen Member Leonard seconded the motion. Pre-Existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Caleb Newman Consideration, Discussion and Appropriate Action for Pre-existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Caleb Newman Action Agenda Item No. 3 Motion and Vote Elected Member Jensen moved to declare no pre-existing conditions for Caleb Newman; Agenda Item No. 3 of the March 2, 2022, Regular Public Safety Fire Personnel Retirement Board; Elected Member Vargas seconded the motion. Pre-Existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Rudy Owens Consideration, Discussion and Appropriate Action for Pre-existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Rudy Owens Action Agenda Item No. 4 Motion and Vote Elected Member Jensen moved to declare one pre-existing condition identified in the Pre-Existing Condition Review memo for Rudy Owens; Agenda Item No. 4 of the March 2, 2022, Regular Public Safety Fire Personnel Retirement Board; Citizen Member Leonard seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously (5-0) Action Agenda Item No. 5 and Discussion 5. Pre-Existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Dylan Quinn Consideration, Discussion and Appropriate Action for Pre-existing Medical Condition Review for Firefighter Dylan Quinn Action Agenda Item No. 5 Motion and Vote Elected Member Jensen moved to declare three pre-existing conditions identified in the Pre- Existing Condition Review memo for Dylan Quinn; Agenda Item No. 5 of the March 2, 2022, Regular Public Safety Fire Personnel Retirement Board; Elected Member Vargas seconded the motion.
