RESOLUTION NO. 5588

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER,
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE ARIZONA
CRIMINAL JUSTICE COMMISSION (ACJC) FY22 CORONAVIRUS
EMERGENCY SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING PROGRAM GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $60,545.25

WHEREAS, The Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) is awarding grant funds for the
Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program to assist State, local, and tribal efforts
to prevent, prepare, and respond to the Coronavirus, and

WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to accept the grant award
from ACIC;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona,
as follows:

Section 1. THAT approval is granted for the City of Chandler to accept the grant award of
$60,545.25 under the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program from
ACIC.

Section 2. THAT the Chief of Police is appointed agent for the City of Chandler, as designated
by the City Manager, to conduct all negotiations and to execute and submit all
documents including acceptance of award and any other necessary or desirable
instruments in connection with such grant.
