SanTan Brewing Entertainment Use Permit Narrative Over the last few years SanTan has experienced the same hardships as other businesses because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. As a result, SanTan shuttered the Tasting Room and Touring component of our production facility. Upon re-opening, the company policy was, and remains to be, respectful to the needs of our customers. This takes the form of socially distanced seating. Because the tors are becoming more successful, and to continue to respect social distancing, SanTan has recently expanded the area of the patio. During the construction of the addition, the stage was relocated from the original plans, slightly expanding the floor area and necessitating a new Entertainment Use Permit. Additionally, this request includes the omission of a stipulation on the type of entertainment, which previously limited it to acoustic performances with no drums. We have two speakers on the patio for tour announcement and background music. Further, both within the tasting room and on the patio we have live performances by three piece amplified bands under the special event permit. The approval of this request would allow for this by right. The tasting room is 1500 sq ft and the patio is 1400 sq ft. The time and duration of the entertainment varies based on the event type but will always be within the following hours: Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm, Monday through Thursday from 3 pm to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm. Depending on the event the number of employees can be as little as 2 or as many as 10. The total number of seats is approximately 48, split 24 and 24 between the patio and indoor area. Lastly, there is an existing shared parking agreement with our neighboring property to the west (455 Warner) which adds over 100 parking spaced to our approximately 40 existing spaces.
