June 23, 2022; and the Special Meeting - Budget Briefing of April 29, 2022.

Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 5019, PLH21-0094 Alta Uptown located at the Southeast 
Corner of Arizona Avenue and Corporate Place, and More Generally Located 1/4 Mile North 
of the Northeast Corner of Arizona Avenue and Warner Road 
Move City Council adopt Ordinance No. 5019 approving PLH21-0094 Alta Uptown, Rezoning 
from C-3 to PAD for multi-family residential with Mid-Rise Overlay allowing heights up to 
sixty (60) feet, subject to the conditions as recommended by Planning and Zoning 
Commission.

Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 5020 Amending the Code of the City of Chandler, Chapter 
6, Emergency Management, Section 6-3 Powers and Duties, Subsection 6-3.2 Relating to the 
Mayor's Authority to Declare an Emergency 
Move City Council adopt Ordinance No. 5020, amending the Code of the City of Chandler, 
Chapter 6, Emergency Management, Section 6-3 Powers and Duties, Subsection 6-3.2 
relating to the Mayor's authority to declare an emergency.  
 
Public Works and Utilities

Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 5014 Granting a Power Distribution Easement to Salt River 
Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, At No Cost, for Electrical Facilities that 
Will Be Relocated Underground as Part of the Chandler Heights Improvement Project from 
McQueen Road to Gilbert Road  
Move City Council approve final adoption of Ordinance No. 5014 granting a power 
distribution easement to SRP, at no cost, for electrical facilities that will be relocated 
underground as part of the Chandler Heights Improvement Project from McQueen Road to 
Gilbert Road. 
 
Consent Agenda Motion and Vote  
Councilmember Orlando moved to approve the Consent Agenda of the July 11, 2022, Regular City 
Council Meeting; Seconded by Councilmember Harris.  
 
Motion carried unanimously (7-0), with the exception of Consent Agenda Item No. 3, which passed 
by majority (6-1), Councilmember Orlando dissenting.
