Committee member Maish made a motion on the Action Agenda Item No. 1 of the August 9, 2022
Regular Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities Meeting; Motion was seconded by
Committee member Foy and the action carried unanimously.
Action Agenda Item No. 2 of the August 9, 2022, Regular Mayor's Committee for People with
Disabilities Meeting; The committee received a request for a $500 scholarship from Isabella Collins
to attend Grand Canyon University. Motion to approve the $500 scholarship was made by
Committee member Maish, seconded by Committee member Deaver. Motion carried
unanimously.
Action Agenda Item No. 3 of the August 9, 2022, Regular Mayor's Committee for People with
Disabilities Meeting; Motion was made to approve up to $2100 for hats for the Golf Tournament.
Hats are navy with two logos including Chandler Golf Challenge and Dignity Health as Title
sponsor. Motion was made by Committee member Maish, seconded by Committee member Foy
and carried unanimously.

Committee Updates – Collette Prather will be going off the committee as staff liaison
and Rebecca Kuipers will sit on committee as the liaison while the City of Chandler goes
through the process to hire a new Recreation Coordinator II to take this responsibility
as staff liaison.
5.
Special Events Report – Committee member Barron will sit on Special Events
Sponsorship committee to review applications as representative from this commitee.
