RESOLUTION NO. 5637

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER,
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHANDLER AND THE CITY OF
PHOENIX TO AMEND THE REGIONAL WIRELESS COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT,

WHEREAS, pursuant to the basic governing principles established by the Intergovernmental
Agreement No. 101746 between various cities, towns, and fire districts to establish the Regional
Wireless Cooperative (RWC), the City of Phoenix wishes to amend the IGA with the City by
extending the agreement for an additional period of (10) years beginning June 1, 2022, ending on
May 31, 2032.

WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to enter into this agreement
requested by the City of Phoenix.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, as
follows:

Section 1. THAT approval is granted for the Chandler Police Department to execute amended
IGA No. 101746 for connectivity onto the RWC Network.

Section 2. THAT Chief of Police is appointed agent for the City of Chandler, to administer,
execute and submit all documents and any other necessary instruments in connection
with said programs.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, this day
of October, 2022.
