REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 13, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chair Rosen called the meeting to order on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at
7:23am.

2. ACTION AGENDA
a. Approval of Meeting Minutes from August 9, 2022
Chair Rosen requested a motion for approval of the minutes for the August 9,
2022, Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities meeting.
Committee
Member Laferty made the motion to approve the minutes of the August 9,
2022. Committee Member Barron seconded the motion.
 
The minutes were approved 5-0 by all members present.
b. Approve Golf Challenge Dinner expense not to exceed $3500

Committee Member Foy made the motion to approve the Golf Challenge
Dinner expense not to exceed $3500. Committee Member Davis seconded the
motion.
c. Approve Golf Challenge expense not to exceed $3600 for cart fees
Committee Member Foy made the motion to approve the Golf Challenge
expense not to exceed $3600 for cart fees.
Committee Member Davis
seconded the motion.
3. BRIEFING
a. Committee Updates
Chair Rosen requested an updated contact list for committee members.
b. Special Events Report
Committee Member Barron provided an update on various special events
occurring around Chandler over the next month.
4. Discussion
a. Discussion regarding holding a Fun Run at Tumbleweed Park on March 2nd, 2023
The Committee discussed holding a Fun Run, which was previously an annual
event, but has been on hiatus since March 2020.
b. Discussion of Future Agenda Items
The Committee requested the following items to be placed on the October
meeting agenda:

Open Meeting Law Training

Breakfast Meeting in December
-
Mental Health Awareness Event
-
Sprout Film Festival

With no further items, Chair Rosen adjourned the meeting at 8:06 am.
