Chicago St., Chandler, AZ Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Chair Grieve at 10:00 a.m. Roll Call Commission Attendance Staff Attendance Chair Chelsea Grieve Katie Cain, Chandler Police Victim Services Commissioner Dawn Curtis Commissioner Zoe Flippen Absent Commissioner LaTisha Codkind Commissioner Teresa Lynn Discussion Discussion of community outreach ideas for 2022 and 2023 - Healing through ART , Color Chandler Purple, Clothes Line Project, Library partners, Field of Hope. - Art Gallery about healthy relationships (schools, Boy's & Girl's Club, etc.) Consider of showing at library, the Gallery, Chandler Center for the Arts - for February Teen Dating Violence Awareness month. Different types of art media, written media/poetry. Maybe multiple places to bring family and friends to view artwork. Request the Art Gallery artists to be recognized by Mayor/ Council. Connect & Heal is a local non-profit that works with adults and teens for poetry events. Action item for November 9, 2022 Domestic Violence Commission meeting: Partner with local organization to produce an Art Gallery of work from interested youth in the community.
