RESOLUTION NO.  5662 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT 
(“IGA”) BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHANDLER AND THE CITY OF 
PHOENIX FOR THE AWARD OF THE EDWARD BYRNE JUSTICE 
ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) PROGRAM. 
WHEREAS, City of Phoenix wishes to enter into an IGA with the City of Chandler for an award 
of $43,233.00 from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 
2022; and 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to accept the award 
through the IGA with the City of Phoenix. 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
Section 1. Approval is granted for the Chandler Police Department to participate in the City of 
Phoenix’s IGA for the Award of the Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) 
Program. 
Section 2. Authorizing the Mayor of the City of Chandler to execute the Agreement on behalf of 
the City of Chandler.
