Capital Projects – Design Phase: 
 
Wildlife Hazard Perimeter Fence:  ADOT environmental clearance received 8/1.  
100% ADOT funding at $1,107,500.  100% plans expected to go out for bid in February. 
 
Arizona Pavement Management System:  Grant approved by City Council on 4/28.   
90% ADOT funding at $617,574 with City match of $61,758.  ADOT handling contractor 
scheduling with work tentatively scheduled for late February/early March. 
 
Airport Operations Garage: City funded at $1 million.  Design contract approved. 
 
Airport Fuel Tank Relocation: City funded at $610,000.  Design proposal under 
contract development. 
 
Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) Replacement:  FAA funding for 
equipment replacement for $200,000.  Pre-scoping meeting 9/16.  Contract routing.  
FAA environmental clearance received. 
 
Runway End Identifier Light (REIL) Installation Runway 4L-22R– (North Runway)- 
FAA funding for equipment replacement for $110,000.  Contract routing. 
 
Runway 4R-22L Rehabilitation (South Runway)— Awaiting FAA grant for $350,000 
for design.  Project scoping initiated. 
 
Capital Projects - Construction Phase: 
 
Heliport Lighting Replacement:  Underway.  City funding at $277,771 for 
construction. Substantial completion projected for last week of January. 
 
Maintenance Projects: 
 
Fence Repair:  Selective tensioning ongoing.

Ramp/Apron Painting:  Transient parking repainting with new, dedicated lead-in 
lines.  Tentatively January/early February. 
 
Flight Planning Room/Pilot Lounge Repairs:  Awaiting updated wall planning 
maps/charts.   
 
Terminal: Touch-up painting ongoing.
