Domestic Violence Commission Community Outreach Subcommittee MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, December 14, 2022 MINUTES OF THE regular Meeting of the DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COMMISSION Community Outreach Subcommittee OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, ARIZONA, held at Council Chamber Conference Room, 88 E. Chicago St., Chandler, Arizona, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIR GRIEVE AT 10:08 am The following members answered roll call: LaTisha Codkind Commissioner Dawn Curtis Commissioner Chelsea Grieve Commissioner Teresa Lynn Commissioner Also in attendance: Katie Cain Chandler Police Victim Services/DV Commission Staff Liaison DISCUSSION 1. Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) – Healthy Relationships - Healthy Relationships tabling event at CUSD, we have dates to schedule for the Domestic Violence Commission. Possibly do a Child Abuse/Healthy relationships presentation at the April School District meeting giving them an update on the visits and thank them for their collaboration and that we look forward to coming back in September. And mention the Field of Hope event. 2. Art Project – no updates from CUSD at this time. Consider/outreach to other youth programs for the Healthy Relationships Art Project. 3. Discuss Community Outreach opportunities - Mark Whitaker, Exchange Club Member will come to the next meeting so he can discuss Field of Hope 2023. CALENDAR Next Domestic Violence Commission Community Outreach Subcommittee meeting Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Council Chambers Conference Room - 88 E.
