Action Agenda Motion and Vote COMMISSIONER DUPATI moved to approve the December 13, 2022 Mayor’s Youth Commission meeting minutes. Seconded by COMMISSIONER DHOLAKIA. Motion carried unanimously. Briefing 2. Tumbleweed Recreation Center Tour Commissioners broke into two groups and took a tour of the Tumbleweed Recreation Center to learn about the services that are available to the community. 3. Event Opportunity - City Council Meeting and City Hall Tour COMMISSIONER NIGAM provided insight on what to expect during this tour, such as touring the building and experiencing a City Council meeting. 4. Event Opportunity - Daddy Daughter Dance ALEXIS APODACA provided details on the requirements and expectations for participating in this volunteer opportunity. 5. Staff Update ALEXIS APODACA provided an update for Councilmembers that have terms ending but that are eligible for reappointment, advising them on how to reapply if they are interested in continuing to serve. CHAIR LEE discussed the upcoming February meeting. 6. Teen Leadership Academy Planning Page 3 of 3 Commissioners broke out into small groups and continued to plan the Teen Leadership Academy. Daddy Daughter Dance – February 3, 2023, 6:00pm Informational Items Adjourn Motion to adjourn was made by COMMISSIONER SIVAKUMARAN, seconded by COMMISSIONER PATEL.
