RESOLUTION NO. 5690

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER,
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHANDLER POLICE
DEPARTMENT AND THE CHANDLER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO.
80 FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM EMEREGENCY
ACCESS.

WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, wishes to enter into this agreement
requested by the Chandler Unified School District No. 80.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, as
follows:

Section 1. THAT approval is granted for the Chandler Police Department to execute the IGA with
the Chandler Unified School District No. 80 for surveillance system emergency access,

Section 2. THAT the Mayor is authorized to sign the Agreement and the Chief of Police is
appointed agent for the City of Chandler, to administer, execute, and submit all
documents and any other necessary instruments in connection with said program. The
Chief of Police is authorized to approve and execute, on behalf of the City of Chandler,
any such future extensions of this Agreement under the same terms and conditions not
to exceed the duration of the original agreement.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, this day
of May 2023.
