Meeting Minutes Mayor’s Youth Commission Regular Meeting April 11, 2023, 5:00 p.m. Chandler City Hall 175 S. Unscheduled Public Appearances None. Action Agenda 2. February 28, 2023 Minutes. Approval of the February 28, 2023 Mayor’s Youth Commission special meeting minutes. 3. Election of Officers Action Agenda Motion and Vote COMMISSIONER Amitesh Bharati moved to approve the February 28, 2023 Mayor’s Youth Commission meeting minutes. Seconded by COMMISSIONER Ananditha Sivakumaran. Motion carried unanimously. COMMISSIONER Dipti Patel moved to approve the election of COMMISSIONER Arnav Nigam, COMMISSIONER Nivid Singhania, and COMMISSIONER Shea Lee to serve as Mayor Youth Commission Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer, respectively, effective May 10, 2023. Briefing 2. Event Debrief - Teen Leadership Academy The commissioners discussed the Teen Leadership Academy including how it went and what could be improved. Then the commissioners analyzed all the feedback and made plans to implement any suggestions for next year. 3. Event Debrief - Chandler Family Bike Ride The commissioners who attended the Bike Ride explained their role and what they did at the volunteering activity. 4. End of the Year Celebration Discussed date - around May 23rd. RSVP, location, time, etc. is to be finalized at a later time. 5. Mayor and Council Report Chair Lee explains what the report is and elaborates that it will be a formal memo/debrief about everything the MYC has done this year. The report must include how MYC has impacted the youth in Chandler and any knowledge that we believe is pertinent to the Mayor & Council. Page 2 of 3 Member Comments/Announcements None. Calendar 7.
