PROJECT NARRATIVE — GHETT YO TACO PLH-23-00?? On behalf of B2 Backyard Grill L.L.C., this is a request for an Entertainment Use Permit within our approved Series 12 (Restaurant) liquor licensed premises located at 241 S. Oregon St. Chandler, AZ. 85225. We are filing this Entertainment Use Permit because we are within 1,320 feet of a residentially zoned area and we would like to offer indoor and outdoor entertainment. Ghett Yo Taco has enjoyed over four years in the City of Chandler, and we are now looking to incorporate live entertainment into one of the many reasons to come to Ghett Yo Taco. Ghett Yo Taco is located within a Center City, Downtown Entertainment District with C2 zoning therefore we believe our request for Entertainment Uses is compatible with the surrounding area. Our proposed live entertainment (and our standard business hours) are from 10:00 am to 12:00 am, Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 am to 2:00 am, on Friday and Saturday. There are electrically amplified speakers for the TV’s and background music inside and outside and the live entertainment within this request will also occur indoors and outdoors. We have approximately 8 speakers throughout the premises and 6 TV’s indoors and outdoors. The live entertainment (acoustic and electrically amplified) will primarily occur outdoors on our spacious patio. The live entertainment may consist of live bands, soloists, DJ’s and dancing. These types of entertainment choices within many surrounding businesses have given the citizens of Chandler as well as other visitors to Downtown Chandler area, a fun and safe place to enjoy a variety of entertainment and we hope Ghett Yo Taco will add to those many entertainment options. Aneighborhood liaison has been designated and the liaison's name and contact information will be made available to neighbors for them to contact us with any concerns including any disruptive noise or loud music from Ghett Yo Taco. Additionally, any manager or person in-charge will be orientated to what is considered an acceptable volume for the live entertainment and they will be all trained to quickly intervene if a musical artist deviates from that standard. Most of our seating is outdoors, however there is an indoor bar and dining area. The total number of seats is at 32 indoor and 100 outdoors. The square footage of the entire premises totals 4,500 square feet. Ghett Yo Taco has enjoyed great praise and patronage resulting from our premium taco varieties, paired with premium alcoholic drinks or craft beer and Mexican beer, and we hope to add electrically amplified and acoustic, live entertainment as another reason to come to Ghett Yo Taco.
