RESOLUTION NO. 5729 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, ARIZONA APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH CHANDLER COMPADRES BRANCH OF THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF THE VALLEY. WHEREAS, the City of Chandler leased certain premises to the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley, Inc., now known as Chandler Compadres Branch of the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley (“Tenant”) pursuant to a Lease Agreement effective November 17, 2009 (the “Lease”) to provide recreation services to Chandler youth; and WHEREAS, the City and Tenant desire to amend the Lease to clarify the parties’ roles and responsibilities, extend the term and make other changes. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, hereby as follows: Section 1. Approves Amendment No. 1 to the Lease (the “Amendment”) between the City of Chandler and the Tenant in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit “A.” Section 2. Authorizes the Mayor to sign the Amendment and the City Manager, or designee, to take all action necessary or appropriate to carry out the purposes of this Resolution.
