Approval of the Mayor’s Youth Commission End of Year Report. Action Agenda Motion and Vote COMMISSIONER Dipti Patel moved to approve the April 11, 2023 Mayor’s Youth Commission meeting minutes. Seconded by COMMISSIONER Maria Gonzalez. Motion carried unanimously (13-0-6). COMMISSIONER Josh Victoria moved to approve the Mayor’s Youth Commission End of Year Report. Seconded by COMMISSIONER Nikhil Dholakia. Motion carried unanimously (13-0-6) Briefing 2. Professional Development Opportunity – 2023 Arizona League of Cities and Towns Conference Hiyun Lee talks about the first opportunity for next year's MYC - Arizona League of Cities and Towns Conference - and explains that it will be all day and commissioners will have to miss school. Additional information will be provided to commissioners over the summer interim and during the August MYC meeting. 3. Volunteer Opportunity – Special Events Funding Panel Commissioner Nivid Singhania discusses the Special Events Funding Panel. This is an opportunity to serve on a panel in which one commissioner gets to be part of a panel that deliberates on providing money grants to local nonprofits. Page 3 of 3 4. End of the Year Event Tuesday May 23, 5-7:30 pm - Skateland Member Comments/Announcements Departing Seniors (Vice Chair Bharati, Commissioner Patel, Commissioner Tungkagi and Commissioner Kuang) provided short speeches about the Mayor's Youth Commission and what their involvement has meant to them.
