2024-2033 Capital Improvement Program 
 
In order to meet the future needs of the community, it is necessary to plan for major 
capital improvements far in advance.  Each year staff prepares a Capital Improvement 
Program (CIP), which is a multi-year planning instrument that identifies needed capital 
projects and coordinates financing and timing in a way that maximizes the return to the 
public. 
 
Per the request of the Board, attached please find Community Services’ 2024-2033 Capital 
Improvement Program that was approved by the City Council as a part of the FY 2023-24 
budget process.
