AMENDMENT TO CITY OF CHANDLER AGREEMENT 
CITY PARKS LANDSCAPE SERVICES 
CITY OF CHANDLER AGREEMENT NO. CS9-988-4086 
 
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 5 (Amendment No. 5) is made and entered into by and between the City of 
Chandler, an Arizona municipal corporation (City), and Grounds Control, LLC, (Contractor), (City and 
Contractor may individually be referred to as Party and collectively referred to as Parties) and made 
 
 
 , 2023 (Effective Date). 
 
RECITALS 
 
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into an agreement for parks landscape services (Agreement); and 
 
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement was October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020, with the 
option of up to four one-year extensions; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Parties wish to exercise the fourth option through this Amendment to extend the 
Agreement for one year. 
 
AGREEMENT 
 
NOW THEREFORE, the Parties agree as follows: 
 
1. 
The recitals are accurate and are incorporated and made a part of the Agreement by this 
reference.    
 
2. 
Section III is amended to read as follows: The Agreement is extended for a one-year period 
October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024. 
 
3.  
Section IV, Price is amended to read as follows: The City will pay the Contractor the per unit cost 
set forth in Revised Exhibit F and G of the original Agreement, attached to and made a part of 
this Amendment No. 5. Total payments made to the Contractor during the term of this 
Amendment No. 5 will not exceed $1,828,000.

Exhibits A of the Agreement, is amended to include additional sites listed receiving services
specified at prices listed in Exhibit F and shown on attached Maps, Exhibit L.
5.
All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
If a conflict or ambiguity arises between this Amendment No. 5 and the Agreement, the terms
and conditions in this Amendment No. 5 prevail and control.

Scope of Work for Additional Sites 
Center For the Arts Maintenance List 
1. Service Monday- Friday (5x a week) 
2. Prune Trees April through May and once in October (2x a year) 
3. Trim trees as needed throughout the year (8’ above sidewalks and 14’ above the roadway) 
4. Trim palm trees (1x a year June-July) 
5. Remove tree suckers weekly 
6. Maintain and trim shrubs, hedges, and ground cover plants (4x a year or as needed for site issues) 
7. Remove any dead plant material 
8. Cap/Plug emitters where there is no plant material present 
9. Blow parking lot (1x a week) 
10. Blow building entrance and around the building (2x a week) 
11. Power-wash the entrance (1x a month) 
12. Power- wash or hand clean the trashcan lids (2x a month) 
13. Trash removal and liner change of (8) trashcans Monday – Friday (5x a week) 
14. Trash, ground trash, and debris cleanup weekly throughout the site (2x a week) 
15. Pre-emergent treatment every six months in decomposed granite areas 
16. Post-emergent treatment as needed or requested throughout the year to keep the site free of weeds. 
Weeds over 3” shall be manually removed. 
17. Rake the Decomposed granite (1x a month) This shall be done the first week of every month. 
18. Blow or sweep (On Ozone Days) sidewalks and walkways to keep them free of debris throughout the site 
limits (2x a week) 
19. Remove any graffiti  
20. Report any damaged, vandalism, or safety concerns throughout the park site (Irrigation, lights, tables, 
playground, sidewalk, etc.) 
21. Contractor is responsible for pest management and removal - bees, ants, gophers, and any other kind of 
insects and pests 
 
Snedigar East, West, and ROW Maintenance List
