In July 2023, five (5) household made five (5) reports regarding aircraft activity. Three (3) households
made three (3) noise complaints. One (1) household made one (1) report of low-flying aircraft. And one
(1) household reported concerns over aircraft traffic activity. Two (2) of the five (5) households were

Noise Report
➢ First complainant reported early Sunday morning aircraft traffic making noise. Flight tracking
data revealed that all aircraft that morning were at or above regulatory altitudes. Complainant
was provided the contract information for the Scottsdale FSDO.
➢ Second complainant reported constant helicopter noise and requested the flight school
alternate their flight paths away from Cooper Road. Flight tracking data indicated that all aircraft
were at or above regulatory altitudes. Concerns passed onto the chief helicopter flight
instructor.
➢ Third complainant reported noise from helicopters and requested they fly at a higher altitude.
Flight tracking indicated that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes. Concerns passed
onto the chief helicopter flight instructor.
➢ Fourth complainant reported late evening and early morning flights generating unnecessary
noise. Flight tracking data revealed that all the aircraft in question were well above regulatory
altitudes from 1500 to 4000 feet above ground level. Complainant provided the contract
information for the Scottsdale FSDO.
➢ Fifth complainant reported a low-flying aircraft. Flight tracking indicated that the aircraft had
just departed and was approximately 250 feet above ground level when over the residence. The
aircraft continued in the south traffic pattern at approximately 400-500 feet above ground level
and landed to a full stop. It was determined that the aircraft was encountering engine problems
and made a precautionary landing according to the control tower manager and the aircraft
owner.
