Domestic Violence Event 2023 – September 26 from 10 am – 12 pm at AVION Center Need to encourage registration. Katie Cain working on CAPA approval for city website and possibly easels in City buildings. Keynote speaker confirmed. Possible survivor speaker available. Need to finalize food and table settings. 7. Domestic Violence Community Outreach Subcommittee -Color Chandler Purple – waiting on City of Chandler to finalize. Member Comments/Announcements Commissioner Zoe Flipplin resigned from Arizona Children’s Association. Arizona Peer and Family Support Career Academy – hosting conference on October 18. Page 3 of 3 Let’s Get Better Together Conference/LGBTQIA+ Arizona Conference on October 18-19. Quarterly Community Partner’s Addressing Domestic Violence meeting on August 22nd, in Flagstaff, Arizona. TSE (The Sharing Experience), will be every Wednesday for five weeks, starting August 30th at the Sojourner Center. Chandler Regional Outreach Co-Ordinator would like to do more outreach for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. September 18 is the proclamation with Chandler City Council. Calendar 7.
