After Proposed Cell Tower Verizon Wireless currently has numerous wireless communication facilities in the City of Chandler and the wireless communication facilities located closest to the proposed tower location are at capacity. The capacity of a wireless communication facility refers to the amount of traffic that the network can handle at any given time. Since Verizon’s existing wireless communication facilties are at capacity and cannot cover the intended area near Sun Bird Golf Course, Verizon needs a new wireless communication facility constructed to fix network issues and off-load that capacity. This proposed site is necessary to drastically improve the overall function and reliability of Verizon’s network.
