RESOLUTION NO. 5749 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHANDLER, 
ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR DATA SHARING BETWEEN 
THE CITY OF CHANDLER AND THE ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS FOR 
AND ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY. 
 
WHEREAS, the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf of Arizona State University (ASU) 
previously entered into a five (5) year Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Chandler in 
November 2018 to share data; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Chandler, through its Police Department, pursuant to Section 1 TERM 
OF THE AGREEMENT, wishes to continue their participation in the ASU Data Sharing 
Agreement for an additional five (5) year period; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf of ASU is authorized to enter into an 
Agreement with the City of Chandler. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chandler, Arizona, 
as follows: 
 
Section 1.   
Approving Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement for data sharing 
between the City of Chandler and the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf 
of Arizona State University for an additional five (5) year term.  
 
Section 2.   
Authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental 
Agreement on behalf of the City of Chandler.  
 
Section 3. 
Authoring City staff to perform all acts necessary to give effect to this Resolution 
and comply with the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement.
