In November 2023, fourteen (14) households made twenty-two (2) reports regarding aircraft activity.
Ten (10) households made eighteen (18) noise reports. Four (4) households made four (4) reports of
concerns over aircraft traffic activity. Seven (7) of the fourteen (14) households were new complainants.

Noise Report
➢ Complainants One, Two, Three, and Four reported loud and repeated helicopters on different
occasions, early in the morning. All residences are in the Town of Gilbert. Helicopter in question
is owned by SRP and was departing from Mesa-Gateway, where it is based. Flight tracking
revealed that the helicopter was above regulatory altitudes. Information passed onto IWA
Operations.
➢ Fifth complainant reported constant helicopter noise near the residence. Flight tracking data
revealed that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes in the days prior to the report.
Very limited details provided. Email sent to complainant with no reply.
➢ Sixth complainant reported increased aircraft traffic over his neighborhood. The residence is
under the downwind leg of the traffic pattern for the north runway. Flight tracking data revealed
that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes.
➢ Seventh complainant made two reports of aircraft noise near the residence. Flight tracking data
revealed that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes. Residence is directly under the
downwind leg of the traffic pattern for the south runway.
➢ Eight complainant reported loud aircraft departing the airport in the early morning. Flight
tracking data revealed that aircraft in proximity of the residence departed after 7:30AM and
were above regulatory altitudes.
➢ Ninth complainant made eight (8) complainants regarding helicopters from the flight school.
Flight tracking data reveal that aircraft were above regulatory altitudes. Information passed
onto the chief flight instructor at Quantum Helicopters.
➢ Tenth complainant suggested switching up traffic pattern routes every 30 days and have them
match the roadways near the airport to reduce overflights of neighborhoods. Advised that the
traffic patterns for the airport are based on an international standards and repeated changes
are not conducive with sound air space safety.
➢ Eleventh complainant reported repeated traffic circling the neighborhood all morning since
5AM. Flight tracking data revealed that all aircraft were in the traffic pattern for the south
runway and were at or above regulatory altitudes.
➢ Twelfth complainant reported noise from helicopters and requested the traffic pattern be
changed. Flight tracking revealed that no helicopters overflying the residence that is directly
adjacent to the airport to the south.
➢ Thirteenth complainant requested the traffic patten for helicopters be changed for noise. Flight
tracking revealed that all aircraft were above regulatory altitudes.
➢ Fourteenth complainant reported middle-of-night pattern work by a training airplane. Flight
tracking data revealed a CHD based flight school aircraft conducting pattern work between
midnight and 1AM. Information passed onto the chief flight instructor at the flight school.
