In December 2023, five (5) households made nine (9) reports regarding aircraft activity. One (1) 
household made one (1) noise report. One (1) household made one (1) report of low-flying aircraft. 
Three (3) households reported seven (7) concerns over aircraft traffic activity.  Three (3) of the five (5) 
households are repeat complainants.

Noise Report
       
 
➢ First complainant, a new resident to Chandler reported increased traffic over the residence and 
inquired if traffic patterns changed. The residence is near the crosswind leg of RWY 22L. 
Complainant was unaware of the airport’s proximity to the residence. 
➢ Second complainant reported repeated loud aircraft and pilots not following noise abatement 
procedures. Residence is directly on the extended centerline for RWY 4L22R. Flight tracking 
data revealed that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes. 
➢ Third complainant made five (5) reports of excessive helicopter traffic over the residence and 
neighborhood. Flight tracking data revealed that all aircraft were at or above regulatory 
altitudes. 
➢ Fourth complainant reported increased aircraft activity the prior two days and appeared to be 
circling the neighborhood. The residence is directly under the downwind leg of RWY 4R22L.  
Flight tracking data revealed that all aircraft were at or above regulatory altitudes. 
➢ Fifth complainant (who requested to be anonymous) reported repeated low-flying aircraft over 
the neighborhood. Flight tracking revealed two aircraft in the pattern for RWY 22L making early 
crosswind turns and climbing to altitude over the neighborhood. Both aircraft were conducting 
flight training. Chief pilots of the flight schools indicated that they have self-imposed procedures 
to turn crosswind only after crossing the canal when departing to the west. They would follow-
up with their flight instructors.
