Arizona Ave. Chandler, AZ 85225 RE: Notice of Intent to Apply for FTZ Status Dear Mr. Miranda: On behalf of AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution, I am writing to formally notify the City of Chandler that AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution intends to apply for FTZ operator. The site is located at 2225 E German Road, Suite 10, Chandler, AZ 85286. It consists of 132,000 sqft +/- building on 17 acres +/-. The nearest cross streets are E Germann Road and S Cooper Road. The purpose of this facility is to provide third-party distribution services including e-commerce activities to our clients under FTZ General Purpose activities. We are the exclusive operator of the facility for the stated services. The site currently employees approximately 20 people. AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution understands that the City of Chandler must file a resolution in support of AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution to the Grantee of FTZ No. 75, City of Phoenix. AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution is waiving any tax abatement opportunities of our facility in the City of Phoenix Foreign Trade Zone No. 75. We understand that the existing parcel is already contributing to the tax revenue, and this will not be removed from the revenue stream. AES Direct Express, LLC. Dba SKU Distribution confirms that it will not pursue or claim the Tax abatement opportunities available for new buildings and equipment as Class 6. We have retained the services of Arizona Gateway Logistics, LLC. as our FTZ Consultant to assist us with the Application process, including Activation with US Customs and Border Protection.
