Approve February 13, 2024 Meeting Minutes
Committee member Hespel motioned to approve meeting minutes from the February 13,
2024 regular meeting. Second by Vice Chair Foy. Motion passed unanimously.

2024 Fun Run Review and 2025 Planning
The committee discussed the 2024 Fun Run. One of the issues identified is that many
schools brought less students than they signed up for, which would have decreased the
students on the waitlist. The committee suggested phone calls to each school next year.
Another suggestion was a quiet finish line for those with sensory sensitivities. 2025 date is
February 27.

2025 Disability Awareness Awards
The committee suggested adding a category for Advocate or Ally of the Year. More
presence on social media was requested, and more outreach to get more nominations.

2024 Golf Challenge
The date for the 2024 event is Thursday, November 14. The committee requested raising
the title sponsorship to $7500 and fees to $110 individual and $425 for a foursome. Further
discussion to be had about course contests.

2024 Committee Goals
The committee discussed areas of focus for the year and requested presentations from
Community Services Marketing and ADA and Transportation.

The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 7 a.m., at the Chandler
Community Center, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave.
