Yes Boards and Commissions Info Professional Experience I am a retired educator, having taught in Mesa Public Schools for 32 years. I taught high school English during that time and have an extensive background in literature. Board/Committee Experience None. Briefly explain why you would like to serve on the board / commission I would like to be a part of this board as a way to give back to my community. I have benefited from the resources the library provides and feel that it is one of the best assets Chandler provides its residents. I love reading and know that books, magazines, newspapers are avenues that allow people to gain knowledge and experiences that they otherwise may not have. I welcome the opportunity being on this board may provide me to interact with other residents and city staff as it moves forward in its role in providing a library system that is both vibrant and essential to making Chandler a wonderful place to live and grow.
