Meeting Minutes Domestic Violence Commission Community Outreach Subcommittee Regular Meeting June 12, 2024 - 10:00 a.m. Council Chambers Conference Room 88 E. Discuss Community Outreach opportunities - Chandler Library – get with Commissioner Grieve to confirm date for Genogram. We can see how many sign up, and if spots are still available, send a Save the Date to our mailing list. - Work on the FY Calendar – schedule events for the DV Commission Page 2 of 2 - CUSD Healthy Relationship tabling events – maybe address it as Mental Health Awareness/Healthy Relationships. Consider 12-month planning, at least two schools per quarter. - Bangladesh New Years – Commissioner Imam to email Commissioner Grieve to requesting a DV table for the event - Suggestion to have DV shelters and Homeless shelters on some type of brochure - LGBTQ+ Pride in Chandler Event in November - tabling event for Domestic Violence Commission - My Sister’s Place shelter - Mother’s Day event Member Comments/Announcements Calendar The next Domestic Violence Commission Regular Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 9 a.m., in the Council Chambers Conference Room, 88 E. Chicago St. The next Community Outreach Subcommittee meeting will be held on July 10, 2024, at 10 a.m., in the Council Chambers Conference Room, 88 E.
