May 23, 2024, Chandler Cultural Foundation Special Events Meeting Minutes Susan Baker made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from the May 23, 2024, Special Events Meeting. Ellie Watland seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously, 7-0. The minutes were approved as written. Action Agenda None Briefing 2. Catering Meeting Debbie Rubenstrunk and Mari Jo Woolf-Whitaker discussed the catering meeting with Robert’s Catering and reviewed the menu with committee members. Debbie needs to follow up with Robert’s to confirm if they will be sponsoring the bar this year. 3. Ticket and Table Prospects Julie Marreel has secured Toyota as a title sponsor with $10,000.00 contribution. Chris and Sherida McMullan have confirmed their table reservation. 4. Mystery Boxes Ten boxes valued at $100.00 each, ten boxes valued at $150.00 each, and five boxes valued at $300.00 each are still needed. Committee members brainstormed potential businesses they could contact to fulfil their needs. Debbie Rubenstrunk discussed the process or assembling the boxes. Terri Rettig is to send Jill Turski’s information from San Marcos to Mari Jo Woolf-Whitaker and will ask Michelle Mac Lennan if we will be turning the theatre pods this year. 5. Murder Mystery Concept Due to Peppur Chambers not being in attendance, this topic was not discussed in depth. Terri Rettig, Mari Jo Woolf-Whitaker, and Debbie Rubenstrunk will meet with Peppur Chambers separately to discuss a potential spring event. The Concert Truck was discussed as a potential entertainment pre-show option and an overview was provided by Terri Rettig.
