Meeting Minutes Cultural Foundation Board Development Subcommittee Regular Meeting June 25, 2024 | 4:00 p.m. Chandler Museum, Saguaro Room 300 S. Chandler Village Dr., Chandler, AZ Call to Order The meeting was called to order by LaTricia Woods at 4:07 p.m. Roll Call Board Member Attendance Staff Attendance LaTricia Woods, Committee Chair Terri Rettig Jeanne Forbis Candy Yu Guests Absent Erika Castro Sherida McMullan Scheduled and Unscheduled Public Appearances Consent Agenda Motion to approve minutes of the May 21, 2024 meeting carried unanimously (3-0). Action Agenda Briefing 1. Follow up on 2024-2025 Season Memberships for Board Members – Jeanne will give a report at the next board meeting on the number of board members who have purchased a season membership. The goal is to have 100% participation from the board. Terri will bring membership brochures to the meeting. 2. Executive Committee Election Process – Board Development reviewed the slate for the positions of Vice President and Treasurer. Jeanne will bring the slate forward at the upcoming board meeting. Page of 2 2 3. Board Core Competencies/Board Engagement Survey – Committee members reviewed questions for the next board engagement survey to be released in the fall. Terri will update and bring the final draft to the next meeting. Member Comments/Announcements Calendar Due to the Board Retreat, the August Board Development Committee meeting is canceled. The next meeting will be on September 24, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Chandler Museum. Information Items The Board Retreat will be held at the Chandler Museum on August 2, 2024.
